
eDummy from carhs is the first numerical dummy for safety simulations to
- evaluate all internal and external forces
- calculate energies and energy flows
- identify restraint system potentials
for all load cases. eDummy is based on carhs‘ extensive experience in energy management methods and occupant restraint systems development. eDummy has been used in many development projects with leading European OEM’s, bringing new insights and discovering potentials for system improvement.
eDummy is fully verified and tested for robustness using the ST-ORM technology. eDummy is available as an ADD-In for currently used industrial Hybrid-III frontal dummy models including MADYMO (Ver. 6.3 and earlier), PAM-CRASH and LS-DYNA.
