In 2015, Daimler started the unique CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative SAFE ROADS with the aim to increase the safety awareness for the people in India. Over two years, the road show was being conducted in eight cities all over India with several presentations at universities and malls. The SAFE ROADS Summit, managed by the independent conference organizer carhs, will be held in 2017 for the first time. It is meant as an opportunity for open discussions with the goal to improve the situation especially on Indian roads.
