ANSYS has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Livermore Software Technology Corporation (LSTC), developer of the Finite Element code LS-DYNA and other advanced software. The purchase price for the transaction is US $775 million.

At the Fraunhofer ITWM, 710,000 euros will flow into the development of simulation-based innovations for the commercial vehicle industry by the end of 2020.
