The project EMMA-CC focuses on the digital modeling and simulation of human work activity. Using software, movements in manufacturing and production can be simulated, analyzed and made more ergonomic. Six Fraunhofer Institutes are involved in the project called Ergo-dynamic Moving Manikin with Cognitive Control.

On March 31, the Call for Papers for our 7th International Symposium Human Modeling and Simulation in Automotive Engineering, - which takes place on October 18-19, 2018 in Berlin, Germany - ended. The program advisory board of the symposium is enthusiastic about the quality and internationality of the presentation proposals submitted.

On April 17-18 the 10th automotive CAE Grand Challenge will be held in Hanau, Germany. In the presentations, workshops and the exhibition, you will receive information on the current challenges of simulation in automotive development. During the breaks and at the evening event there is time for discussion with other experts of automotive CAE.

Team Penske and Siemens PLM have entered into a new technical partnership. Under the multi-year agreement, Siemens will help enhance Team Penske's performance through full access to a wide variety of software products to enable advanced digital design and simulations.
