Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Active Safety Systems are becoming the backbone of future vehicle safety.

The development of  active safety and assistance systems has to ensure that the systems will continuously operate under all driving conditions and monitor an unlimited number of traffic scenarios. Verification of active safety and assistance systems becomes complex and time-consuming. Only a tight integration of real-world testing and virtual simulation will allow to achieve the high quality requirements for the future safety systems.
