The material database developed provides dynamic mechanical data for the simulation of vehicle passive safety performance and contains the dynamic mechanical characteristic curves of 92 kinds of steel grades for coachwork. Tested strain rates are 0.001/s, 25/s, 50/s, 100/s, 200/s, 400/s, 600/s. The data base covers the products of mayor Chinese steel makers such as Baosteel, Anshan Iron and steel, WISCO, Shougang group etc. The material types cover common metal materials for coachwork such as DC series, DP series, low alloy high strength steels series, SAPH series etc. The data base can be directly referenced by LS-DYNA, PAM-CRASH and others.
