A recent study by the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO shows: almost a third of the medium-sized companies surveyed have not yet dealt with artificial intelligence (AI) and just a tenth are already using AI applications. Specialists with technical foresight and innovative ideas could change this, but small and medium-sized companies find it particularly difficult with this target group - a vicious circle in times of acute shortage of skilled employees.

Truong Le, a scientist at Fraunhofer IAO, wants to break this circle with the "100 AI Talent" qualification program.
