Niclas Trube from Fraunhofer EMI receives the Young Scientist Award of the Human Modeling Symposium

On October 18 - 19, 2019 carhs and the Bioengineering Center at the Wayne State University (Detroit, MI, USA) successfully held the 7th International Symposium "Human Modeling and Simulation in Automotive Engineering" in Berlin, Germany.

In two days, participants learned from 36 lectures by international human modeling experts all about the latest developments and applications of human models in automotive engineering. At the conference and at the evening event a lively exchange was possible.

The prize for the best work of a young scientist has been awarded this year to Niclas Trube from the Fraunhofer EMI research institute for his presentation: "Simulated muscle responses upon frontal crash pulses considering changes in muscle stiffness using THUMS v5"
