Computer-aided engineering is extremely important, not only for optimizing lightweight designs on the PC. Unfortunately, a high expenditure of money, time and personnel is usually necessary to perform simulations. So why not automate numerical simulations using machine learning and artificial intelligence and get a clever algorithm to do the job? The three founders of the Karlsruhe-based Renumics GmbH thought so and have developed a software platform that not only makes simulation technology much easier to use, but also makes it significantly cheaper.
