ANSYS has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Livermore Software Technology Corporation (LSTC), developer of the Finite Element code LS-DYNA and other advanced software. The purchase price for the transaction is US $775 million.
Simcenter MADYMO contains an Active Human Body Model aHBM, which is a digital twin of an average adult male. This model simulates a human body reacting to movements whilst maintaining posture with the use of a unique musculo-skeletal form guided by a control system of sensors and actuators.
The awards for the 7th Altair Enlighten Award were presented during the CAR Management Briefing Seminar (MBS) in Traverse City, Michigan, USA.
