The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to impact and injury biomechanics. In addition, an overview of simulation models of the human body is given, which are suitable for the investigation of accident biomechanics and the development of advanced safety systems. Karin Brolin has been working in this field for over 20 years and is an internationally recognized expert.
As part of the Vision Project , the French manufacturer researched the possibilities of new, digital design ideas and manufacturing technologies. The focus of the project are design drafts that were developed using generative design in Autodesk Fusion 360. The first result of the commitment is a new high-performance concept racing bike that has the potential to be individually produced for each customer from aluminum using 3D printing.

The joint project "SynergieRegion", funded as part of the BMVI tender "5G implementation funding in the 5G innovation program", aims to research new 5G applications for Smart City and Industry 4.0. The Fraunhofer IAO and the cooperating institute IAT of the University of Stuttgart work together with partners from industry and science on the ARENA2036 research campus to develop application-oriented solutions for the regional economy.
