Honda develops an innovative new passenger front airbag technology designed to better protect occupants in a wide range of frontal collision scenarios, including angled crashes between vehicles or a vehicle and another object.
Researchers at the Transurban Road Safety Centre at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) conducted more than 130 crash test simulations using a wide range of car seat accessories and found that some types of accessories may pose health risks.
Toyota Motor Corporation launches its updated "Sora" Fuel Cell Electrified Vehicle bus (FCEV bus) and improvements to its preventive safety performance. Specifically Toyota improves the Sora's preventive safety performance through the use of ITS functions (ITS: Intelligent Transport Systems). Additionally, the Sora's transportation capacity, speed, and punctuality have been expanded.
Like its Flex PLI predecessor, the aPLI supports integrated SLICE NANO DAQand sensors from DTS. The standard aPLI configuration includes 18 sensor channels focused on three primary types of measurements: injury assessment, flight dynamics and vehicle impact.
