![]() | e-Xstream engineering, a subsidiary of MSC Software, brings Digimat-RP / Moldex3D on the market. The new software integrates an OEM version of Moldex3D in Digimat-RP. Moldex3D is used to analyze injection molding processes. With Digimat RP-fiber-reinforced plastics can be modeled. By combining the two programs CAE engineers can carry out the injection molding simulation directly in Digimat-RP and determine the fiber orientation for structural analysis with the FEM. The estimation of fiber orientation by means of a, Fiber Orientation Estimator 'in Digimat-RP is based on a fully integrated technology of Moldex3D for meshing, flow simulation and calculation of fiber orientation. Optimized input options, automatic meshing, and computation provide an intuitive user interface and maximum productivity. More Information: mscsoftware.com |
