Fraunhofer LBF Optimizes Vibrations with Artificial Intelligence

The solution space becomes very large and different vibration engineering measures interact with each other, which can lead to unexpected effects. The Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability LBF therefore develops new methods for the vibration engineering optimization of complex systems. They are based on evolutionary algorithms and allow a fast and automated solution finding. They are based on an expandable library with different passive, semi-active and active measures, which can also be used in combination.
