In search of academic projects on virtual test driving

With the competition, IPG Automotive aims to promote pioneering ideas and projects that were realized with the simulation software CarMaker, TruckMaker or MotorcycleMaker. Students may submit their academic projects from now until December 31, 2017. For the first time, IPG Automotive also invites students from international universities to compete. Since 2015, IPG Automotive has hosted the simulation competition SimulOscar to offer students a platform to present their innovative ideas and projects on the subject of "virtual test driving" to a broad audience. Academic research projects in various areas of application in the field of vehicle development are accepted which were successfully realized with the simulation solutions CarMaker, TruckMaker and MotorcycleMaker. Whether the focus is on automated driving functions, Real Driving Emissions or chassis design - all projects have the chance to win the award.
