Against the background of the energy and transport turnaround, electromobility appears to be a key driver for a society moving towards sustainable mobility with a future-proof transport system. However, there are still many challenges to be solved along this path. With an increasing switch to electrically powered vehicles, both the expansion of sufficient charging infrastructure and the potential network congestion with simultaneous charging processes represent major challenges.
