In 7 sessions, speakers from industry, research and software development will be reporting on their work to overcome the current challenges of the automotive CAE. In addition, they receive valuable information in the workshops of our partners ASC (S, BETA CAE Systems and EOMYS). Take part in the automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2019 and benefit from 42 lectures and 3 workshops.

The 7 most important current challenges of automotive CAE were determined in October 2018 by a survey among the CAE experts of the automotive industry and form the topics of the sessions of the automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2019:

• CAE General: AI in CAE Process automation and quality assurance
• Crash: Modeling of point connections for multi-materials
• Durability: Influence of manufacturing processes on durability
• Materials: Material and failure models for metals
• NVH: Sound design electric vehicles
• Multi-simulation: Simulating battery and electrical engine cooling
• Special Session: Virtual testing of autonomous driving vehicles

Speakers from industry, research and software development will report on their work in overcoming these current challenges of the automotive CAE in their lectures.
