In 2017, carhs.training offers exciting, new seminars on the topics of active vehicle safety, design for durability and prototype reduced development processes. Engineers from the relevant areas of vehicle development will benefit from participating in the seminars.
To this end, the topology optimization method has to be extended for dynamic analysis. This extension has been developed in PERMAS to enable topology optimization to be used simultaneously for static and modal frequency response analysis. The method has been presented at the automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2017 held in Hanau, Germany. 
On April 5 - 6 the automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2017 has been held in Hanau, Germany. In 7 sessions speakers from industry, research and software development reported on their efforts to solve the current challenges of automotive CAE.
