Project ATTENTION Artificial Intelligence for Real-time Injury Prediction

article imageThe goal of the ATTENTION project is to develop a method for real-time injury prediction for vulnerable road users (VRU) such as pedestrians or cyclists. For this purpose, data-driven methods are used to determine a situation-specific injury risk from vehicle-based video data and virtual testing using digital human models. Prospectively, injury prediction enables both safe and efficient traffic through automated vehicle risk mitigation strategies.

Bionics and AI for the Development of sustainable Products

article imageEven if relatively little CO2 is emitted during vehicle development itself, the subsequent CO2 emissions in production and use are significantly defined here. This is the motivation behind EDAG Group's participation in the joint project "Bionics and AI for sustainable integration in product development for resource-efficient lightweight construction" (BIKINI) with partners from research and industry. Together, they are pursuing the goal of applying bionics and artificial intelligence methods to enable sustainability along the entire process chain and over the entire life cycle of a product.
