read more ... Samsung Traffic Safety Research Institute announced the results of a study on the effect of R-AEB-equipped vehicles on reducing pedestrian accidents while reversing. The announcement was the result of an analysis of actual accidents in Korea for a total of 174,332 vehicles, and it was found that equipped vehicles had 44.7 % fewer collisions with pedestrians while reversing than vehicles not equipped with the system.
