Humanetics and ARAI partner to advance the Scientific and Technical Foundation of Road Safety in India

MGA launches new 225 Tools in Preparation for FMVSS 225 Updates

article imageThe MGA Research team played a central role in the development of the FMVSS 225 Clearance Angle and Depth Tools by taking NHTSA's original drawings and fabricating the first versions of both. Once complete, MGA engineers began measuring a range of vehicle seats to gather feedback, gain practical experience, and establish best practices for tool use. Through this process, the team identified opportunities to enhance the tools robustness and measurement accuracy. After incorporating these improvements, MGA produced updated versions for further evaluation and validation.

Child Restraint System (CRS) Usage in fatal Car Crashes in Sweden and the Potential of Rear-facing CRS to influence Injury Outcomes

Infineon further strengthens its leading Position in Sensors and acquires non-optical analog/mixed-signal Sensor Portfolio from ams OSRAM

No Excuse for Lack of Side Head Protection in two Star Toyota Corolla Cross

New SAFER Partner Project: I-AIMS2 - Towards safer and more human-centred Mobility

article imageSAFER welcomes I-AIMS2 - Impairment-Aware Intelligent Mobility System 2, a new partner project exploring how driver safety, well-being, and fuel efficiency can be enhanced through the use of artificial intelligence. Led by the University of Gothenburg in collaboration with Smart Eye AB, the project develops and tests a new driver support system called Sheila-Guard - a large language model (LLM) with voice feedback that can detect the driver's state and help regulate stress, fatigue, and attention.
