NTSB unveils its 2021 - 2022 Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements

The National Transportation Safety Board finalized its 2021 - 2022 Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements. The 2021 - 2022 MWL draws attention to more than 100 safety recommendations associated with the 10 items on the list. These recommendations, if implemented, can save lives, reduce the number and severity of injuries and prevent transportation accidents and crashes.

US Motor Vehicle Deaths in 2020 estimated to be highest in 13 Years

article imageFor the first time since 2007, preliminary data from the National Safety Council show that as many as 42,060 people are estimated to have died in motor vehicle crashes in 2020. That marks an 8 % increase over 2019 in a year where people drove significantly less frequently because of the pandemic.

FIA concludes Investigation into Romain Grosjean's Accident at 2020 Bahrain F1 GP

article imageThe FIA's Safety department has completed its investigation into the accident in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship race at the Bahrain International Circuit on November 29, 2020, in which the Swiss-born French driver Romain Grosjean crashed into the barrier 180 metres after the apex of Turn 3 and his Haas F1 team car caught fire before he escaped with significant but not life-threatening injuries.
