Pioneers of Safety and Security in the Automotive Realm of the Future

article imageVirtual simulation is set to play an increasingly important role in homologation, as the approval and certification process for vehicles is known. By enabling scalable testing to be performed, simulation provides a basis for tackling the complex and diverse tasks involved in validation and homologation and their accompanying scenarios. The safety and security requirements of this field are changing as rapidly as the technology itself. Accordingly, a succession of binding regulations from the UNECE and the EU's General Safety Regulation (GSR) are coming into effect.
