U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean P. Duffy announced 52 deregulatory actions across Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In total, the deregulatory package will rescind, withdraw, or amend burdensome regulations that do not enhance safety. These actions also help streamline the Code of Federal Regulations by deleting over 73,000 words from the Federal Register.
The testing of 16 new cars has highlighted Euro NCAP's ongoing drive to improve the safety of vehicles for all road users. The latest models from Audi, Dacia, Ford, MG, Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot, Renault, Tesla, Voyah and Volkswagen were all put.

Toshiba Digital Solutions Corporation (Toshiba) and IAV GmbH (IAV) have agreed to enter a strategic partnership to jointly develop new approaches for virtual validation of automated driving functions (AD/ADAS). Crash analysis is always amongst the top priorities of improving vehicle safety and performance in an automotive industry. Meanwhile, the historically existing crash analysis have the potential to be upcycled to gain knowledge in advance for the design of battery packs in Electric Vehicles (EV) chassis.
