Only few medium-sized companies already use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze sensor data in production plants. An AI platform therefore will be created in the ManuBrain project, which will help unlock the potential of data analysis for specific industrial applications. In ManuBrain, partners from research and industry work together to ensure the practical relevance of the developments.

For example, it can be investigated what influence external conditions, such as temperature, have on the properties of a product. If you combine collected data, the operator's experience and physical and technical knowledge, you can optimize products and processes.

The state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Fund for Regional Development are funding the project over a period of three years with a total of 1.8 million euros.
