Phenomenological Calculation Concept shortens Layout of Injection Molded Parts

The phenomenological calculation concept closes a big gap in the design chain of such molded parts. With the help of the concept, it is possible to estimate the direction-dependent component behavior on form elements at an early stage in component development and to design the component in accordance with load requirements. This reduces costly iteration loops and consequently shortens the entire development and manufacturing process. In addition, the concept can also be applied in areas in which the Integrative Simulation was so far too expensive or time-consuming. Depending on the level of detail required, the new process can be viewed as an independent solution to component design or as an upstream supplement to Integrative Simulation.
