ZF unveils Smart Seat Belt Technology

With its new seat belt system, ZF Passive Safety Systems will enable significantly improved adaptation of the belt force limitation to the size and body weight of the vehicle occupants in the future. The Multi-Stage Load Limiter (MSLL) is primarily responsible for the individual system adjustment. It helps to further reduce the consequences of accidents for all occupants and enables car manufacturers to meet the increased requirements of the NCAP Roadmap 2030.

UN extends its Cyber Security Management Regulation to Motorcycles and Scooters

article imageUNECE's Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles decided to include motorcycles, scooters and electric bicycles with speed exceeding 25 km/h in the scope of the UN Regulation No. 155 on cyber security and cyber security management. In force since January 2021, UN Regulation 155 is applied in various regions of the world and covers passenger cars, trucks, and buses.

USDOT enlists UVA for Key Roadway Safety Research

New UN Regulation will ensure Durable Batteries for Electric Vans
