Together with partners from academia and industry, TECOSIM has successfully completed the SimPlex research project funded by the Hessen Agentur agency. The aim of the project was to develop a new simulation method for the calculation of the crash behavior of automotive glazings made of Plexiglas.

MDGo is specializing in what it calls medical artificial intelligence. By using advanced machine learning technology, it aims to save numerous lives by making sure that people are treated according to their specific injury following a car accident. UVeye, has developed advanced technology for the automatic external inspection and scanning of cars for damages, dents and scratches.
ANSYS has announced that a final agreement has been reached on the acquisition of DYNARDO. This gives ANSYS customers access to comprehensive process integration and robust design optimization tools that enable them to realize optimal products faster and more efficiently.
The ihf Ingenieurgesellschaft has released the new software product AutoFENA NL after intensive tests. AutoFENA NL is a program for the automated execution of a proof of strength according to the new "FKM-guideline nonlinear" of the Forschungskuratorium Maschinenbau (FKM) within the VDMA.
The kick-off meeting for the EU project THREAD, a new doctoral program focusing on the direct application of new research in industrial practice, took place in Halle on Saale on October 24th. With € 3.6 million, the European Union will be funding 14 doctoral positions and a very special training environment over the next four years.
