The new 
The Automotive Solution Center for Simulation e. V., together with a number of top-class partners from the "envited Marketplace", has created a unique, certified online training program for the simulation of automated vehicles, which carhs.training will include in its training offering.

The U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the 15 recipients of the U.S. Government Safety Engineering Excellence and Special Appreciation Awards for their work in motor vehicle safety engineering and public service.
On May 17, 2023 at Applus+ IDIADA in Tarragona Spain there will be the opportunity to view the final demonstrators of the SAFE-UP project and gain insight into the project. The SAFE-UP project dealt with the development and research of active and passive safety systems and tools for future autonomous vehicles since 2020. Considering the long experience with human body models, the Virtual Vehicle work focused on the verification and validation of occupant models, especially on the kinematics of occupants shortly before impact.
Consisting of 26 funded and 2 associated partners from industry and science, the research project DigiTain started on 01.01.2023 with a total project duration of 36 months. In DigiTain, processes, methods and models for fully digital product development and certification of sustainable electric drive architectures are being developed and tested using a technology carrier.
Ask a child what sound a car makes, and the typical answer is, "vroom-vroom!" Ask an automotive engineer the same question, and the response will be much more complex. From the hum of wind passing a side mirror to the enhanced acceleration of an electric vehicle, the many sounds a car makes are critical to the overall driving experience. To design, identify and optimize automotive sounds, engineers rely on a field called NVH.
VI-grade, Chassis Autonomy, an Anglo-Swedish start-up that designs and manufactures fail-operational actuation systems for highly automated and fully autonomous vehicles, and CAE Value, a Swedish tech company that provides high-end simulation and optimization solutions, have announced a strategic partnership specifically focused on improving the way chassis components such as steering systems for autonomous vehicles are designed, tested, and validated.
As sponsor of the Formula Student Team of the Ingolstadt University of Technology, ARRK colleagues from the departments ADAS, Thermal Management and Powertrain visited the Schanzer Racing Team. Every year, more than 60 students develop, design and build a purely electrically powered vehicle and compete with it in the international Formula Student design competition. The team from the university competes in two disciplines with its vehicle: Formula Student Electric & Formula Student Driverless.
For the sixteenth time, Human Solutions is presenting the RAMSIS Excellence Award. The award is given for scientific work that deals with the subject of ergonomics in vehicles in the broadest sense. The RAMSIS Excellence Award is intended to give students and scientific staff an insight into the processes of the automotive industry.
