 BMW will perform Crash and Occupant Simulations with LS-DYNA from AnsysAnsys and its European distribution partner DYNAmore will supply the BMW Group with Ansys LS-DYNA for the development of passive safety systems of future vehicles. It has not been announced whether the software used so far will be phased out.

The new Chinese manufacturer "AIWAYS" is building electric vehicles and founded a subsidiary in Europe in 2019. In order to be able to offer its first vehicle, the AIWAYS U5, in Germany, the manufacturer turned to the AZT for support regards the insurance group rating process in Germany.

ASEAN NCAP conducted the AEB development test for two consecutive days, 15th-16th July 2020 at the Sg. Besi Airstrip in Kuala Lumpur. This is the second development test that ASEAN NCAP is conducting in our effort to strengthen our assessment procedure on new vehicles sold in the South East Asia market. The first development test was held in 2018 in which ASEAN NCAP tested the effectiveness of blind spot technology.
