KART of KIDI completed the construction of the Mobility Research Facility. The facility was established as a dedicated research infrastructure for empirical studies on vehicle structural damage and repairability, with the objective of conducting forward-looking research in response to the rapid advancement of automotive technologies and insurance repair practices.
AB Dynamics is enabling the automation of more than 1,200 Euro NCAP tests included in the new 2026 protocols through its updated Special Groups library. The automated creation, calculation and validation of these tests will save months of development time for test teams. Available as an optional upgrade through the latest version of the company's Track Applications Suite, the update represents the largest expansion of Euro NCAP scenarios in the library to date.

OSP, the Open System Protocol developed by ams OSRAM for dynamic lighting and intelligent vehicle networks, is on its way to becoming an international standard. ISO's Technical Committee TC 22 (Road Vehicles) has launched standardization work on OSP as a new work item within ISO/TC22/SC31/WG3.
The 13th Allianz Motor Day focused on autonomous driving and how our mobility is changing with the development of new systems in vehicles. Level 3 vehicles are already on European roads, while Level 4 pilot projects - vehicles that move completely autonomously within defined environments - are already in use in cities such as Hamburg, Munich, Oslo, and Shanghai.
The Jiken Center conducted a crash test to investigate battery damage and examined the effects of the collision on the battery using diagnostic tools. The findings were then discussed with automobile manufacturers to request that they provide battery diagnostic criteria to the market.
The new Jetour T1 delivered strong performance in the ASEAN NCAP assessment under the 2021-2025 protocol, earning a 5-Star ASEAN NCAP rating with a total score of 87.67 points. The T1's accumulated score was based on the four assessment categories consisting of the AOP category with 38.09 points, the COP category with 16.18 points, the SA category with 17.14 points and the MS category with 16.25 points.
To address a technical void in the Mexican insurance sector, CESVI MÉXICO has developed a predictive model that correlates vehicle deceleration during impacts with the likelihood of occupant injury. Between December 2024 and August 2025, the research team conducted a series of instrumented crash tests using a fleet of popular models, including the Mazda 2, VW Jetta, Suzuki Ignis, and Toyota Prius C.

A new Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) report, developed with General Motors' (GM) support, reveals the deadly consequences of this preventable behavior and outlines concrete steps to eliminate it.
SAFER has a new partner project in road safety: Interoperable Roadside Unit (RSU) Prototype, led by MittLogik Solutions AB in collaboration with RISE, and funded by Vinnova/FFI. The project follows on from MittLogik's previously completed pre-study "Safer Crossways using I2V" and aims to take the next step toward practical solutions for a safer, more cooperative traffic environment.
