Fatigue is a key factor in a large proportion of road crashes, that kill 1.1 million people and leave over 40 million injured worldwide every year. A new 
CDH AG, a strategic partner of Elemance and reseller of the GHBMC Virtual Human Body Models in Europe and Japan, is pleased to announce that the GHBMC M50 models have been certified by Euro NCAP in accordance with the requirements set out in the Technical Bulletin, "Qualification Procedure for Human Body Models (HBMs)" (CP550). The models are therefore approved for use in simulations according to "Human Body Model Simulations in Frontal Impacts" (CP551).
Given the impact AEB can have on vehicle safety, further developing these life-saving features is critical. MGA's testing services help support the validation and refinement of AEB systems throughout the development lifecycle. Over the past few years, MGA has actively participated in industry workshops, technical forums, and hands-on training opportunities focused on advancing AEB and ADAS technologies.
The Soft Bicycle 360, a representative bicycle ADAS target supplied by AB Dynamics and sister company DRI, has been approved for use in official testing by Euro NCAP. With this purpose, the VIA Awards were created-an initiative developed by CESVI Colombia (Colombian Center for Experimentation and Road Safety) and Fasecolda (Federation of Colombian Insurers), which for more than a decade has guided consumers and raised the standards of the Colombian vehicle fleet.
Making phone calls, adjusting the car radio, operating the navigation system, reading or writing text messages - drivers are often distracted from the task of driving and thus increase the risk of accidents. "The term multitasking may sound good, but in reality, it is nothing more than jumping back and forth between different tasks. At work, this often comes at the expense of efficiency and quality; when driving, it quickly becomes really dangerous", warns Stefanie Ritter, accident researcher at DEKRA.
Older pedestrian crashes frequently occur on local roads near traditional markets, where narrow roadways, mixed traffic and high foot traffic create complex and hazardous environments. Traditional markets are places older adults visit regularly, making them persistent high-risk hotspots for pedestrian injuries.

For someone with a visual impairment, it can be the difference between being able to travel - or not.
