Front crash prevention systems that performed well in the original IIHS front crash prevention test are associated with larger crash reductions, HLDI recently found. All systems are associated with reductions in the frequency of property damage liability (PDL) insurance claims. But better ratings mean bigger benefits, the analysis of claims data for 2018-19 models shows.
